  I fished with Captain Mike Makowski on May 19, 2017. It was a great experience and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to do some flats fishing. I would gladly fish him him again on my next trip to Key Largo. As a Texas angler I catch plenty of trout and reds and was looking to catch some different species on my trip. Cpt. Mike worked his tail off poling us through the flats hunting bonefish. We saw several and would have gotten one on the boat if I had been a better fisherman. We also had a chance at a Permit but I couldn't get the bait on his nose. Cpt. Mike never got frustrated and was very encouraging. Finally we found some smallish tarpon and got some real action. It was a great trip. Cpt. Mike was a real pro and definitely worth reaching out to if you are heading his way.

  Great trip for a last minute charter!!! Caught several tarpon and and knew exactly where to go.
